| The majority of orders are dealt with on the day received and dispatched within 24 hours although our terms are as follows: Non prescription orders placed on line we aim to dispatch between 3 and 5 working days of receipt of order and payment. Prescription orders sent to us (prescription and copy of order needed) we aim to dispatch between 1 and 3 working days of receipt. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or Bank Holidays. We will contact you if an item is out of stock or if there is any delay to your order. Should you require a product urgently please call us on 08701 430052 - please note there may be an additional postal charge for urgent orders. Once we receive your order acknowledgment will be sent to you via email. Post and Packing
All items will be packaged to ensure they reach you in excellent condition and are all posted out using Royal Mail. - Orders upto £10 in value post & packing is £2.50
- Orders over £10 in value and up to 1kg in weight post & packing is free
- Items over 1kg in weight are susceptible to additional postal charges
- Please select 'Special Delivery' if you want your parcel to be covered for more than £34 compensation, see notes below
- For Food orders delivery charge is £4.99 which covers upto 30kg in weight. This delivery option must be selected at check out in the 'Select a postage method' select option 3 Food Delivery. Food is sent out with Parcel Force and will be delivered within 48 hours of dispatch and will require a signature.
Safe DeliveryWe do everything possible to ensure that your parcel arrives to you on time and in good condition, although once it has been posted out then it then becomes the responsibility of Royal Mail. We send out all items with a Certificate of Posting which proves that the Post Office has received the parcel from us and it is then their responsiblity to ensure it reaches you. Lost or Damaged ParcelsWe send out all parcels with a Certificate of Posting, this means that we have proof it was received by Royal Mail and should the item be lost of stolen you can claim compensation of up to £32 directly from Royal Mail. If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged we will send you a Claim Form, a copy of the invoice and a copy of the certificate of posting, once you have this you need to complete all the relevant sections of the form and then post it to the address shown on the form. It can take 4-8 weeks to be processed by Royal Mail. The form will then be processed by Royal Mail and compensation sent accordingly. Further queries relating to your claim must be taken up with Royal Mail. To guarantee compensation claims for lost or damaged items over the value of £34 you need to request 'Special Delivery' on the Check Out Page within the drop down list 'Select Postage Method'. There is an additional charge of £5.75 for this but it ensures should you need to claim for it being lost or damaged you can claim up to £500. It also ensures next day delivery but please note this is once the order is ready to dispatch. Pet Dispensary recommends you select 'Special Delivery' for any items we are sending to you over the value of £34. |
